What is it? The web site doesn't seem to explain anything.

Galvanize apparently provides rental space for tech companies and some
sort of tech related schooling. Beyond that, IDK.

I've only seen two vague news articles. The news articles say there
are 48 STEM related companies there in their Arizona tech building.

The one article was how tech hubs are popping up in refurbished areas
of various cities suffering from urban decay.

Cold Call. Go there. Walk up. Talk to someone. Impress them. Drop off a
resume or fill out an employment application. Get lucky. Get a job.

Or, go there. Get the company names off of the business off their
doors, or mailboxes, or sign-in sheets, or front signage, etc. Find
their websites. Submit a resume.

(BTW, the only guy I know of who might be in that area is Hugh.)

Rod Pemberton is a stalker! He thinks I live in Phoenix AZ because I posted a picture of myself on the internet a few years ago sitting in front of Comedor Guadalajara restaurant which is in south Phoenix quite near this Galvanize address. He is posting this reference to Galvanize now in the hope that he can induce me to confirm that I live in Phoenix. He thinks that I'm "f---ing stupid" and I will tell him what city I live in, or even give him my home address. It is all nonsense --- there is no evidence that Galvanize hires Forth programmers, and even if they did, why would I go to their warehouse to drop off my resume?

This is where Rod talked about my photo at the restaurant previously:

Rod Pemberton did succeed in getting me kicked off of comp.lang.asm.x86:

Rod Pemberton is a very creepy guy! One time on comp.lang.forth he posted a satellite photograph of some guy's house (it turned out to be the guy's parents' house). I don't even know why he hated the guy as this seemed to be a carry-over argument from some other forum that had nothing to do with comp.lang.forth. Then afterward he explained that the guy wanted to have a satellite photo of his parent's home posted on comp.lang.forth because he had not concealed his IP when getting on the internet (he believed at that time that I lived in California; only later on did he start believing that I live in Arizona):

Liar. I have no interest in you Hugh. I've never stalked anyone.

I did keep running across the path of a girl I liked many decades ago,
but we always seemed to be headed in different directions. I found out
many decades later that her own mother was setting up the situations ...
She probably didn't know that. I definitely didn't. Unfortunately,
she might've felt stalked or harassed. If she did, I'm sure I was
scapegoated or victimized for it.

I posted the link to Galvanize because you always complain about
driving a taxi cab. Is that a lie?

You also complain about being unable to get Forth programming work
similar to what you did at Testra. Is that a lie too?

If both are the truth, you'd think that you'd be thankful for the link,
even if you don't like me.

No, I think you live near Phoenix because *you* revealed that here
many years ago. (My memory is somewhat decent.)

HA> MicroChip is here in Phoenix ...
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.lang.forth/onseJxXjiC8/SXkNRY3uc9EJ

HA> I'm in Phoenix AZ.
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.lang.lisp/a2xvOl9V1Tw/TusuTSwVXwwJ

(Those are among many others you can find in the Usenet archives.)

Besides, anyone can look up your IP and find that you're in Phoenix or
thereabouts, because you don't mask your IP on your posts. Fair game.

And, just how would you know the Comedor Guadalajara restaurant is near
Galvanize's address? What would inspire you to look that up, if you
didn't happen to live near Phoenix? (Think stuff through Hugh.)

> He is posting this reference to Galvanize now in the hope that he can

I don't care where you live. The further away from me the better,
since I'm convinced you're partially insane, or have anger problems.
Well, your online persona is.

> This is where Rod talked about my photo at the restaurant previously:

True.

It demonstrates good detective work using publicly available
information.

> Rod Pemberton did succeed in getting me kicked off of
> comp.lang.asm.x86.

What?!?

I had absolutely *NOTHING* to do with you getting kicked off
of CLAX. That was entirely your own doing. Take responsibility.

You had already angered the moderator, Frank Kotler, with your previous
off-topic rants on a *MODERATED* Usenet newsgroup (not a Google Group).
He warned you numerous times about your rants and insults. Then, after
a short while of good behavior, you posted yet another an insult, which
happened to be about me. IMO, it was rather trivial and irrelevant
insult, but Frank took the action he promised you. He has integrity.
He moderated.

> Rod Pemberton is a very creepy guy! One time on comp.lang.forth he
> posted a satellite photograph of some guy's house

I didn't hate the guy. I never heard of him until he posted here. My
recollection was the guy kept viciously attacking me for no apparent
reason. He seemed to think that inciting others was a game for fun,
much like you, but far more like J.P.

As you know, Google maps is available to anyone and it has not only
satellite photos but street-level photos of your house. So, posting
links to images is not creepy, unless Google maps itself is creepy.
It's only creepy to those who haven't moved into this modern age of
"Big Brother" with video security cameras everywhere, and camera-enabled
smartphones everywhere.

So, you can keep pitching your delusional sales pitch, Hugh, but you
know it's nothing more than manure. Get a life. You waste way too
much time here.

Rod, this time you started, and I don't know why.

Hugh with his unfortunate attitude that c programmers are "cidiots"
won't get a programming job soon, and probably he is not looking either.

US and UK are full of jobs, at least in the "hardware software firmware emebedded" fields. At least that's showing up in internet searches.
I'm not living in either country but I was interested in UK for
a while. Not sure anymore... :)

I don't have anything against C programmers. The only time that I've used the word "c'diot" is in this document:
http://www.forth.org/Stundurd.txt
I was referring to the way that C programmers, when they write Forth code, will typically write the most crappy code possible in order to make Forth look bad. I don't blame them for wanting to do this though --- in the old days, prior to ANS-Forth, the Forth language was a competitor to the C language (UR/Forth compared well against Borland Turbo-C using the Small memory-model) --- the C programmers are just trying to get ahead in life, the same as everybody else.

You are right though that I'm not looking for a programming job. My Forth experience, plus $1.40, will get me a cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts --- my Forth experience is considered to be a negative, rather than a positive, in regard to getting a programming job.

I wouldn't want to immigrate to the UK --- too much crime! --- there is Combat-18 that beats up immigrants and is widely believed to be a front for MI6.

Of course, America has similar issues --- in Arizona we have militias that supposedly guard our boarder with Mexico to prevent illegal aliens from crossing. Joe Arpaio lost the recent election though, so no more "Joe Shows" --- hopefully all this rhetoric encouraging violence will go away --- but Donald Trump's rhetoric isn't helping the situation.

I always suspected that Joe Arpaio was protecting the "Maryvale Monster," because it was primarily Mexicans who were getting murdered and Sheriff Joe was okay with that. I think that it is not coincidental that, immediately after Joe Arpaio loses the election, the new sheriff figures out who the Maryvale Monster is and charges him with the murders. Somewhat humorously, the Sheriff Penzone says that the suspect has been a "person of interest" for many months, although Penzone has only been sheriff for about one month.

BTW: Romanians aren't totally above a little racism themselves. My Romanian coworker was very racist against Guatemalans. He was okay with Mexicans, but the Guatemalans he couldn't stand. He didn't like Albanians either, and said that Serbia was justified in going to war against them, and America was no justified in going to war against Serbia --- I agreed with him on that one --- I didn't support Bill Clinton going to war against Serbia to protect the Albanians (the Balkans have been war-torn for hundreds of years, and America is not going to improve the situation by butting in on their latest war).

In very rare circumstances war is justified --- for example, Vietnam went to war against Cambodia to put a stop to the Khmer Rouge --- for the most part however, being an "international policeman" is a bad idea.

I don't think that the red khmers was more evil than the leader of other countries. But there was a very successful psyop against their plan to abandon the system of money. It's always a certain kind of people that want to rule the world and they hard-lines without caring about persons lives.

Similar successful campaigns was directed against Soviets worldwide killings, with the purpose to let the capitalist countries appear as opposites. But as Donald Trump said "We also have killers. A lot of them." It's known that US Navy produce killers in San Diego and in Naples in Europe. There is no real reason to believe that some countries are better than others.

The worst is that the leaders of the world since thousands of years has treated humanity as mental prisoners never letting us see and understand how it really is. If the leaders of the world would loose this control, their empires would falter and people wouldn't hate each other just because it gains this upper layer of the world. But Jesus has defeated the world.

He who humbles himself will be exalted and he that exalts himself will be humiliated.

So if you do either you will end up stuck in an exalted/humbled loop?
Is there a WHILE exit?

There is no loop, rather a single switch. Being humble is to accept the truth and being possible.

There was a lot of international criticism of Vietnam when they invaded Cambodia. People thought this was imperialism. To justify themselves, the Vietnamese government had a lot of captured documents from the Khmer Rouge translated into English and French and made public. Those documents were pretty horrific! For example, there were log books from prison guards describing how they tortured the prisoners (they had to keep a log book to prove to their supervisors that they were diligent in their jobs). BTW; the term "croak" to mean "die" came from those documents, because that was the literal translation from the Khmer language.

The Khmer Rouge was a big experiment in psychology. A lot of children were drafted into the army at the age of four. They grew up with no memory of their parents. They had no memory of anything except army life. From that early age they were taught to torture animals (especially a certain kind of monkey that, when it screams in pain, sounds like a human). The experiment was to determine if nature or environment primarily affects what people grow up to be. It was found that about 1/4 of the children would refuse to become killers, indicating that their nature prevented this, because their environment had been totally focused on turning them into killers.

I think the Vietnamese were justified in going to war with Cambodia to stop the Khmer Rouge. America was doing almost nothing. This doesn't mean that I think the Vietnamese government is purely good --- they are hard-core communists --- they've got problems of their own.

I read a book about communism one time, and it described what life is like in a Vietnamese prison. Surprisingly (to me), when you go to prison in Vietnam you are required to write an autobiography. You do this, but it is difficult because you can't remember a lot of details of your life, such as jobs that you worked at, and the government has records of everything so they do remember. You turn your autobiography in, and then you get yelled at and accused of lying, and you get beaten and told to try again. Nobody can figure out what to write to avoid the beating and get released. Some try to remember every detail correctly. This doesn't work. Others try to be totally fawning, claiming to have spent every day of their lives praising Ho Chi Mihn (even those who are older than Ho Chi Mihn) This doesn't work either. Some prisoners are released after only a few months, but other aren't released for several years. Nobody can figure out what in the autobiography causes a prisoner to be released. It has been speculated that the prisoners are given a sentence, but they aren't told how long their sentence is, and they are released because their sentence has concluded, and this has nothing to do with the autobiography. This isn't true either though, because prisoners who had actively resisted the government will sometimes get released after a short time, whereas prisoners who had only mildly criticized the government will sometimes stay in prison for a long time. The best guess is that the prisoners are released randomly on a lottery system when the prison gets over-crowded --- this is very ironic because writing an autobiography implies that people are unique --- a lottery implies that the prisoners are all the same.

Humans can be pretty weird! There is a lot of evil in them. :-(

You read this and it can be true, but it doesn't say much about other countries. By blaming enemies a false picture is indirectly proposed about the own party.

As you judge others you will self be judged.

People are very, very different. Some are monsters and some
are really very decent. Also some animals acts like monsters:
sharks, polar bears, tigers etc. And people really hate the
monster - animal or human. But nothing good come from
this hatered.

All responsible for the terror deed will be judged by their acts,
as they judged their victims, they will judged themselves.

But very decent people never support hatered.

So, we're calling the fundamental need of certain animals to eat or die,
an act of being a monster, now? If you're religious, are you going to
condemn God for this? If you're scientific, why are you making
judgments about nature?

I'ts not my intension to judge the monsters, those who for some
reason acts monstrously violent. They have their reasons, but
their acts demonstrates their defects: their lack of respect and
care for other beings.

I can't blame my genes or my mental state for my acts, and the
same holds for anyone. We will all be judged, but not by you or
me. And we will be righteous convicted.

Also remember that Jesus praised some roman soldiers and
criticized some religious hypocrites.

Get some training in a different language. Simple. Inexpensive.

So, this wasn't just ordinary Mexican-on-Mexican crime? ...

I don't even know what that means, "ordinary Mexican-on-Mexican crime".
What's ordinary about murder? Even Trump knows Mexicans rape and kill
white people, not each other.

That last part is sarcasm if you couldn't tell.

You are trying to lure me into going to 515 E Grant St.. This is within walking distance of that restaurant where I had my picture taken several years ago, so apparently you assume that I live within walking distance.

That is a bad part of town. The Hells Angels' clubhouse is within walking distance. Most of the businesses are warehouses, scrap-metal buyers, and pawn shops selling used car stereos that were obviously stolen. You see a lot of high fences with concertina wire on top, and signs that warn about guard dogs. This is the kind of area where, if shots are fired, the police don't show up for over an hour. If they find a dead body, the detective quickly concludes the investigation by writing a one-paragraph report in which he speculates that the victim was involved in some kind of criminal activity.

Why do you want me to go to 515 E Grant St.? What is going to happen to me when I get there?

What is your connection with this Galvanize company? Their website is very vague as to what exactly they do.
