I'm currently using the eval version of SwiftForth and playing around. to build a new image with the word program is a striking feature. but unfortunately once I have built a new image and running this image, I can't build a subsequent image from the new one. Is this a limitation of the eval version or a general rule ? Andreas

That is not the end of the world as you develop the words when they are working you enter them into a file which on the start of SwiftForth you can pass the file name as part of the command line an it will load it up and you can continue developing from that point with all your debugged works loaded. -- Cecil - k5nwa

But you'll need to launch the turnkeyed SF from the correct location, so it can find what it needs to do PROGRAM. In my case I launch SF and consecutive SF's from within SwiftForth/bin/osx If I launch SFn from another location I get the "Can't open file" error message when attempting PROGRAM.
