#26330 — Seeking files on the disks that accompany books written by Norman E. Smith......

I realize that my request pertains to 'very old stuff', but perhaps someone can help.  I recently discovered a couple of 'FORTH-related' books written in the early/mid 90's by Norman E. Smith and borrowed them from local lending libraries.  Unfortunately, since so much time has gone by, the disks that accompany these books are missing.  The two titles of interest are:

1) "Write Your Own Programming Language in C++, SECOND EDITION", and
2) "Programming Output Drivers"

If someone 'out there' has the set(s) of files on either or both of the books' disks, perhaps archived on a harddrive, I would very much appreciate obtaining these.  Please let me know what is possible in this regard.

Thank you for the lead and reference.  After downloading the 'Until' files at the site you suggested, it is unfortunately clear that many of the important and crucial files from the books' disks are NOT present.  (The books contain lists of the filenames on their respective disks.)  So I still need to find someone who may actually have the books' files of code.

Nevertheless, the site you suggested DOES have some OTHER very interesting Forth-related systems, code, and documentation!! (;->) I appreciate your help and am certainly grateful for access to these other materials.

Perhaps a letter to the publisher? That would at least tell the 
publisher what topics and authors are of interest.  It may result 
in suggestions of current titles or a lead on the disks. YMMV

If no luck here you may be able to track down the author.  In 2006 he responded to
someone making the same enquiry ...
