Whether high abstractions are needed depends on the application. Every 
language feature should be judged relative to the application for which

No!

I was referring to the subject line - just like Gavino did - but
specifically my change to it.  And, using his text messaging style, I used
"2" for "too" or "also".

I was just using his conversation in the subject reply and same text
messaging reply style in the post body to demonstrate to him how
annoying it is.
