I kept looking for the software but it's with the Verilog code. Not a
whole lot of information on how to create the software, there several
Forth files, but with what does one compile it? You know the saying "You
seen one Forth, you seen one Forth". I will have to look at it later
today and see if I can figure it out.

I took a look at the provided tools, it looks like a simple
implementation of a Meta Compiler, with some ANS compatibility options.

However I'm a happy camper, it turns out that I've had a copy of
machineforth for the ep16 Soft CPU and was not aware of it. It is a Meta
Compiler, and with it came a modified version of eForth that can be
compiled into native code for the ep16.

The whole thing is easily modifiable and it even came with really good
documentation that explains the build process and what the code is
doing. I've seen a web page somewhere that has additional code to make
eForth more ANSI compatible if desired, although eForth is more likely
compatible with the old Forth that I am a little acquainted with.

I'm quite happy with the discovery, in reality it doesn't take much to
make me happy which is a good thing.

Forth, make it your own.
