No, the further away it is, the longer it takes to get there. So, if it's
further "away", you can't "crash into it" any sooner. "Faster"
refers to velocity, not acceleration. This universe is bounded by (at
least) four dimensions, one of which is time, which requires more time for
more distance. You can crash into the ceiling with a higher rate of
acceleration the further away it is, but only if the plane is accelerating.
But, it's unknown whether the vertical acceleration of the airplane
is increasing, decreasing, or constant.

I'm 6ft tall. That's not quite 2m.
Are you telling me I'm "scalping" myself by wearing shoes when walking down
an airplane aisle? Anything less than foot or so to my head and I need to
"duck" - lowering my head. I've never had that issue on airplanes. I'd say
aisle to ceiling is close to 7ft, maybe more. Is that what you meant by
"just a bit more than 2m"?

I never said it was there. I said 4ft or more ("solid") is needed. That's
entirely different from 4ft is standard or available.
I don't know the exact dimensions, but my estimation puts the overhead space
at 2.5ft in for an aisle seat without an overhead luggage compartment. In a
window seat, you might have 7 to 12 in. above your head to the bottom of the
overhead luggage compartment.
Most airlines require seatbelts for take-off, landing, and known turbulence.
It's the unknown turbulence that's the issue. Most airlines allow you to
take your seatbelt off for periods of flight. In those situations, you're
definately going to crash into the ceiling, without a seat belt, with bad
turbulence, no matter what seat you're in, but the aisle seat has far more
headroom.

An upright position for a bunk? That entirely defeats reasons for using a
bunk: (more people) per (total volume). You're just cargo ...
