Is it just about a toy project? Or are you making something that sells?

Turbo C++ 3.0 is free now. It should fit into a 1.44M diskette.

That's a great tip. I don't want to compile anything really large. Just one
file that displays ANSI graphics. It's not a single problem on Linux.

However when I try this on Windows I'm getting headache. Tiny C Compiler
doesn't have NCURSES. And I was thinking about to transfer it to it.

Then I tried GNU solutions. I went with CYGWIN64. The catch is that I won't
be able to redistribute the program without cygwin.dll. That's not feasible
either. I'll take a look at Turbo C++ 3.0. But I guess it won't have NCURSES
for a change.

So that's my little problem.

Thanks anyway

If you could go Linux, the C world is a lot bigger there.

Your mention of floppy disks in your original post caused a lot of
confusion. You're not really using floppies, are you? It sounds like
you just need something fairly small due to your limited disk space.
(In another article you said your hard drive is 32GB, with 24GB taken up
by Windows. Your free space is still orders of magnitude bigger than a
floppy.)

If I recall correctly, Turbo C++ is badly out of date. You'll need to
decide whether that's a problem for you.

No, I don't the reason was I imagined something that would have like 1MB.

I don't really thing C compiler has to be any bigger. And in the case of
Tiny C Compiler the distribution file itself has something like 500KB.

That's just perfectly what I meant. Now I have to solve my knowledge gap
in Terminal control.

Thanks for response
