It wasn't the first computer virus and it was written in assembly, yes.

Was its first copy spread by a human being tampering, injecting and
infecting a MS/DOS floppy diskette?

Remember: there was not even Netware in the market back then, and
APRAnet was still relatively private.

There's a brand NEW site out there called Wikipedia. Maybe you
could check there before asking stupid questions.

	https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoned_virus

PS I think there is a version in Stupid, but it defaults to
English. Sorry about that.

I knew. But should we believe in them? Do you trust them, with your life
and death? :)

copy/paste

The Creeper virus was first detected on ARPANET, the forerunner of the
Internet, in the early 1970s.[23] Creeper was an experimental
self-replicating program written by Bob Thomas at BBN Technologies in
1971.[24] Creeper used the ARPANET to infect DEC PDP-10 computers
running the TENEX operating system.[25] Creeper gained access via the
ARPANET and copied itself to the remote system where the message, "I'm
the creeper, catch me if you can!" was displayed.

The Reaper program was created to delete Creeper.[26] In fiction, the
1973 Michael Crichton sci-fi movie Westworld made an early mention of
the concept of a computer virus, being a central plot theme that causes
androids to run amok.[27] Alan Oppenheimer's character summarizes the
problem by stating that "...there's a clear pattern here which suggests
an analogy to an infectious disease process, spreading from one...area
to the next." To which the replies are stated: "Perhaps there are
superficial similarities to disease" and, "I must confess I find it
difficult to believe in a disease of machinery."[28] (Crichton's earlier
work, the 1969 novel The Andromeda Strain and 1971 film were about a
biological virus-like disease that threatened the human race.)

some people thought that keith thompson get wiser but it had not occured

1) keith would be right if he would like do not answer on * his own *,

2) but keith do not understand theings that commonly are called by the world pluralism -
(and pluralism is a social and political fact)

(3 pluralism tells that there is a * variety of group of very different opinions * in tha place and no one stupid group is allowed to legitimize/credit all thet are not their own group as a trolls not allowed to have his own part

(so keith should just say that he will not talk to czang (or bether nothing as who
is interested in this) (liek i talk for myslef not reckognizing chang sentences as a
apecialy sane ) not just trying to rule
this group as it would be owner of this
place - Nor any more intelligent man would try to command this place as his own place,
pluralism is a fact

But if you had strange but clever ideas, please respond and teach!

I didn't know there is a newsgroup named alt.dev.null! Is there one for
/dev/random? :)
