I'm really surprised Leader Keith hasn't stepped in and quelled the
insurrection. Usually, anytime something off-topic gets posted, Keith is
there within an hour or two putting it down.

Is Leader Keith on vacation or something?

Maybe he's in Vatican? :)

Dude, I miss the time when you and Jacob were (to me) the biggest
pains in the ass in the group :-(

As of now, my filters have killed over 90% of recent threads...

Wish I could take an axe to a few Internet connections, and
silence several trolls/kooks.

1) Mr. Man-wai Chang <toylet.toylet@gmail.com>
2) Rick C. Hodgin <rick.c.hodgin@gmail.com>
3) several others -- nowhere near the level of the first two
(Ramine, fir, SF, Bill C, Alla)

People... please, Please, PLEASE!! Kill-file these two trolls
and restore sanity to this group.

I can provide help setting up filters, for any Usenet client.

Regards.

Alla? Seriously? Alla's posts about learning C lead to quite a few
interesting discussions.

That's the easy part. The hard part is having things to say. I find
myself with no remarks to make about C that I would consider worth
starting a thread over, but if you do, feel free -- feel more than
free -- to do so.

You're right, they do - and there's nothing wrong with most of her
messages, in themselves. However, Alla seldom bothers taking the advice
she's been given (in particular, the advice about slowing down to the
point where she can actually understand what she's doing), which makes
discussing things with her a bit of an annoyance, at least for me.

What is "alla"? It's symmetrical.

Alla is common slavic female name, and she's identified herself as female.

> Are alla.rashitova@ and modelling.data@ the same poster?

Yes. The modelling.data userid is her preferred one; the one time she
used the other one, she made a comment about it being a mistake.

For the record, I count 23 occurrences of alla.rashitova@
between Oct 2015 and Oct 2016.

I'll adjust my filters, since 2 posters I trust recommend it.

True, it is nonetheless true that too much noise does not help the

well probbaly each one has its own set of 'enemies'

my usenet 'enemies' are mostly blablers -

this group level is though so low that nearly everything

That didn't really solve problem. You need take control of Usenet, then
spread, inject, install and activate your filters to all NNTP servers
worldwide (how many of them?), like a Stoned Virus. :)
