Bart, I think you just have to give up here. You have tried hard to give Fir help on what he asked for, with admirable patience, but all you get back is insults and posts that look like a cat walked across his keyboard. The guy has no idea about what he wants (nor what science is), and can't express his half-baked thoughts. Sometimes he makes posts that can lead to interesting C-related discussions, but I think we are long past that in this thread.

That makes sense. recantly i was realy rarely talked witch very dumb people and i really forgot how it is to meet such fellows ad d.b. here..i dont know but people in my circles was far les dumb last years... so for me its really exceptional to find such guys talking shit like ypu both here... its maybe partially becouse peoplegenerally dont try to talk shit on deeper technical levels as they dont go there so they usually assume im right and spare themselves opportunity to make clowns with selves now those clowns appearing like here are really rare ocasins to me

Also, if f1 succeeds, then f2 might not have to be called at all because
it already broke the contract?

No, the 'if f2(){}' line must be executed whether f1() was true or also.
As I understand the feature: they are independent conditional blocks.
But the final else{} must be executed if all were false.
I think if you have to explain it, then it's a bad sign!

Oh shit. I was isolating the following line, not the two previous calls:
if (!f1() && !f2()) {}
