Off-topic, but what are the pluses/minuses of
the mingw compiler

for C programs under windows?
And, while you're at it, also compare and contrast
the dos djgpp if you're familiar with it

And any other similar compiler.

I try to mostly work under linux, but can't ignore windows,
and use mingw for that platform. Seems fine for my purposes
so far, but I assume there must be some drawbacks/differences
vis-a-vis ms compilers.
