We are not distributing code, we are building it. We don't care what
tools the original projects used. The short story with premake is you
just tell it where the source files live, what compiler options to use
and it goes and finds the files and generates the build script.

Being able to build and use tool has given humans something of an
evolutionary leg-up. From the stuff you post here, you appear to have
missed the memo.

SQLite is one of the third party projects we build.

What's easier, buggering about tying to amalgamate files, or finding
them and building them? Hint: you have to find them to amalgamate them.
