Yes, there are.  Obviously not for _Bool itself -- that did not exist --
but in "if (...)", "while (...)" and as operands of &&, || and ! an
expression is treated as being Boolean.

You'd have expressions E such that

  if ((_Bool)E)

and

  if (E)

behave differently.
