I found it interesting.  I suspect this is one of those things
that people usually don't really appreciate right away, but
after using for a while would never want to give it up.  IME
it's very difficult to convey the value of such things just
by explaining them.  It sounds like what you did would have a
lot of value, based on your retrospective.  I didn't have much
reaction beyond that so I didn't say anything.
