* T <T@invalid.invalid> | A pointer to a pointer. Geez! I am going to write that up in my C | notes that I use with native call. In c++, you have references to change a variable passed 'down' to a function. But in C it is either return-value (which in your case is already taken by the HRESULT success/failure indication), globals or pointers. So if you want to change a pointer, you need to pass the address of that pointer, i.e. pointer-to-pointer. R'
