I've d/l ver 3.7 but the manual obtained is for version 5.1?... Can't find a newer version for android nor the manual for the downloaded version. This could be fixed in two diferent ways: finding the 3.7' manual or updating to a more recent version both, the software & manual. Anyone here knows what's the best course to take? Thanks in advanced! PS. I've read somewhere about "something Java" in relation to gnuplot but there was little info at the entry, so I don't know if it's for android systems this's left unconsidered. I've even seen links to webpages that plot with gnuplot after an input is given via the browser but the links visited were dead...

I'm trying to install & use gnuplot at an android kindle fire 5 tablet, not at a desktop. The link you offered is of no help to me at these circumstances.

The link was to the general information site for the gnuplot project http://gnuplot.info and is equally relevant to all platforms. If you need help on how to install programs on a particular platform, you will probably do better to find a forum discussing that platform (in your case android/kindle) rather than asking here. Nevertheless I suggest you have a look at this platform-independent approach that runs gnuplot as a javascript app inside a web browser. http://gnuplot.respawned.com/ If you find that method is useful on kindle and/or android you could contribute a note back to the gnuplot project web site so that the next kindle user can find out about it more easily.
