If it isn`t really late I think you only need to find the directory after you exctracted. Binary files will be at gnuplot\bin

All I did was execute "wgnuplot.exe" and now the program is running.

Well, it _is_ way too late.  Almost two and a half years too late, to be 
precise.

Please don't make the same foolish mistake so many followers of the 
church of Google recently have started to make.

Google Groups is clearly on a 5-year mission to eradicate USENET, seek 
out any remnants of it, and weed out common sense practices there like 
no evil corporation has done before.  This year's heinous plot is to 
trick their users into mistaking dead and buried old threads for active 
topics of discussion worth replying to.
