I'm using version 3.7 as it's the last version for android that I could find at a Kindle Fire Gen 5. OS is updated.

I, suddenly, discovered today that you can have a view of your present working directory by issuing the command <!dir \{p,w}> or maybe there're even more choices --I didn't try!

My main problem isn't to write the script but to save it where gnuplot can find it. When you issue the command shown above the output is as if I'm working in a DOS environment with even the C:, the'\' slash & the usual Windows format. All this makes me wondering if what I'm really running is a mini virtual machine...

I've ES File Man installed but cannot find where gnuplot is saved nor can't save a simple file created as a .txt file where gnuplot could find it. I even tried to create the script from within gnuplot itself thinking that it shouldn't put it where it couldn't find it later on but wasn't possible.

Could anyone have an explanation and sugestions as to how to proceed?

Thanks in advanced!

I don't know anything about this android port, but what is the
output of the command "pwd" (Print Working Directory)? Can't you
change directory (cd '..') ? Change to the root directory?

And a quick search on google showed at least one newer version for
android, "droidplot" which seems to be v4.6pl0. Bit old, but not
twice as old as Android itself. ;-)

I finally learned how to grasp a screenshot at this kindle tablet but now my problem seems to be that this webpage give me no options to upload this file...

Can you or someone else give me directions as to how to resolve this last issue?

Thanks in advanced for any help provided concerning the exposed issue!
