Although gnuplot produces the plot I want, it also complains:

This backend is only for XRandR 1.1, your version is:  1 . 4 
Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address. 
IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon 

What is it trying to tell me? How do I fix whatever it is?
I installed gnuplot, as mentioned, by typing into my Kubuntu
system,

sudo apt-get install gnuplot-x11
