The self-dubbed Un-carrier has never hesitated to call out AT&T and
Verizon when they make customer-unfriendly moves.

Under former CEO John Legere, T-Mobile built its business by doing the
opposite of what its chief rivals AT&T and Verizon did. Legere
literally looked at all the ways his rivals mistreated their customers
and attempted to do something different.
