I see an unlocked Motorola G7 power, a pretty good 2019 phone, for $87. If you don't insist on the newest fanciest phones, there are some very good deals. It would be nice if you could use a 40 year old mobile phone like you can use a 40 year old landline phone, but that's not going to happen. Here is a picture of my 40 year old landline phone.
