Has anyone done this successfully from Access?

Our software only tracks income.

Thanks!

I have no experience with QB but i have seen odbc drivers and/or intuit
provides a SDK for downloading.
Some additional information can be found here:

Thanks! I will check those out. I remember getting frustrated years
ago when I tried to sync access with QB. And the SDKs were confusing
to me.

I am worried about messing up clients QB data!

Now I remember why I got frustrated. Everything I found went from QB
to Access. That is not what I want to do! I want to go from Access
to QB.

I doubt any commercial accounting package would allow write access though linked tables or queries. If they use a SQL server, you may be able to setup a connection and force a write; which would likely corrupt the data and void any support. Some API calls may allow updates similar to how the application's forms operate. Some will allow importing of data and allow you to trigger imports from your application.

That may also have been a concern of mine. My wife and my software
has a report with Quickbooks information that only takes a few minutes
to manually type into QB. At most.

I am sick of being asked if our software interfaces with Quickbooks!

It isn't like these lodges are doing the business like "Amazon" does!

Thank you.

Take a look at the sdk samples. There are some how show you how to
add/modify customers or invoices in QB. Sure not in vba but in other
programming languages.
There are also some QDBC drivers which will allow write access to QB.

Maybe it will help a little bit.
