I'm not following this time, Harry. In my case, there's just a simple, one-field, linkage between related records. Suppose I have a very small business which has led me to make the foolish mistake of linking orders to customers through the customers' last names. The behavior I'm seeing is that when I try to change to a different related record by typing a different last name over the original last name, FMP is changing the last name of the original related record. As with accounts receivable, the relationship is many-to-one. Charlie -- Nobody in this country got rich on his own. You built a factory--good. But you moved your goods on roads we all paid for. You hired workers we all paid to educate. So keep a big hunk of the money from your factory. But take a hunk and pay it forward. Elizabeth Warren (paraphrased)
