Hi there,
I'm back after a very long time..
completed the Theory (paper work) for a new speech codec,
trying to implement its practical implementation (computer application), can any one pls advise me..
1. what things I have to take into consideration
while developing the codec.
2. what speex www.speex.org offers at 2.5kbps my codec offers the same at 200  bits with out loosing the fidelity.
3. I can get ultra wideband 32khz sound at just 200-250 bits with out missing sweetness of the sound.

      Any doubts or ideas., I am always here to help you.

So in 0-50 bits you can add an entire orchestration to somebody narrating something?

And how many bits are required to encode two people talking over each other?

And heaven forfend that anyone would put an orchestration behind two such
vocal lines. Wow - Bat out of Hell has just disappeared from my CD shelf,
and presumably it never even existed in the first place!
