... Hello, I have done some benchmarks, and my Parallel LZMA , with maximum compression level, compresses to the same size as WinZip with mzaimum compression level and almost the same size as WinRAR with maximum compression level, and both my Parallel Bzip and Parallel LZMA are better with maximum compression level than PKWARE ZIP with maximum compression level. My Parallel archiver don't support solid block compression, but i think that with solid block compression you can gain between 10 and 15% on compression size, so i will not implement it, if you want to do solid compression with my Parallel archiver , just store your files into the archive with no compression and after that compress your file with my Parallel archive using Parallel Bzip or Parallel LZMA. Other than that my Parallel Bzip compression is 6x times faster than 7Zip Bzip compression. You can download Parallel archiver from: http://pages.videotron.com/aminer/ Thank you, Amine Moulay Ramdane.
