I can't speak for Alvey but I buy size appropriate cars for my needs
that are new with all the latest emissions tech. I observe the principle
that the only way to emit less CO2 is to burn less fossil fuel.

Get over yourself, you ridiculous ignoramus. You've made how many
international trips again? We're always hearing about them, aren't we....

This is clearly lost on you. I'm not telling anyone what they should or
shouldn't be doing. But you are, and making yourself look like an utter
hypocrite in the process.

If you feel compelled to pay more for your electricity because you think
it's the right thing to do then knock yourself out. You're achieving
absolutely fuck nothing by doing so and kidding yourself if you think
you are. I suspect you already know this and only do it as a salve for
your guilty conscience, and a pissweak one at that. But if you think
that ridiculous act gives you any right to call anyone *else* "selfish"
then you are as off your pathetic little rocker as someone who commits
all kinds of sins all week but repents on Sundays.

Grow up, for fuck's sake. Your "holier than thou" bullshit just makes
you look spectacularly stupid.

Yup but those aren't relevant to Darren's *fraudulent claims* regarding
*his assumed place* in the motor trade and are the ones I take most
umbrage at! FWIW, his place in the motor trade is, at best, as a pimple
on the arse of it. There are a lot of things wrong with the motor trade,
and I would be the first to acknowledge that, but the worst are the
*pretenders* like him who infest the trade in places like Victoria. Les
now understands this to be true and I'm sure there's been a cavalcade of
others who have also learnt their lesson after having been caught up in
Darren's dishonest attempts to *claim a trade qualification*.

Given that my Mazda 3 gets about 12km/L and a Litre is currently costing
me about $1.75'ish per Litre, I'm paying about 8.3c/kM

What would be the equivalent cost for you in your Electric Car?? I'm
guessing/hoping a hell of a lot less.

Given time constraints, please make the effort to explain how a *car* is
an alternative to a plane on international flights out of Australia

And, yes, we know you *lie* about your international travel. The limits
of your international travel have been the occasional trip to Kiwiland
to front the relos.

It doesnt given that whatever this country does power
generation wise will never have any measurable effect
on world CO2 levels or climate.

Agree, if we suddenly went to zero tomorrow the only thing that would
happen would be the lefty pollies would have a wank fest telling
themselves and everyone who will listen how wonderful they are whilst
achieving SFA.
I'm not against reducing emissions but IMHO it needs to be done in a
sensible measured way, panic measures such as mandated EV's make no
sense at all and overall cause more harm than good.
For example my 5yr old house has a 7 star energy rating that wasn't all
that difficult or expensive to achieve, it also saves me a bucket load
of money so its a win win.
Even if nuclear power doesn't happen (I believe that it will even if its
small scale) the debate needs to happen and costings need to be done,
logic says that if 32 other countries have nuclear power then there must
be something to it, they can't all be idiots.

Depends on what is omitted as much as what is said.

**Bullshit. Dutton will build exactly ZERO nukes. He will FINALLY crunch
the numbers and admit that they are way too expensive. He will then
commit to building more coal fired and gas power stations, as that is
the only solution for Australia that Dutton considers viable.

For sure, just delaying and/or obfuscation tactics.

Completely off with the fucking fairys, as always.

**Nope. Fact. Dutton will find out just how much nukes cost and will
then announce that he will not build them. He will build gas and coal
fired power stations instead, because they are way cheaper, Gina wants
him to and he doesn't give a crap about CO2 emissions.
