Unless I was lucky enough to have one of the supported models already, I'd still prefer a RPi or other SBC instead to avoid the complications and uncertainty of trying to run server software or a whole other OS on top of Android. The article's userspace Linux OS approach also won't work forever once Android updates are no longer available for the phone. Eventually the GlibC in newer Linux OSs won't be built with support for the older Android kernel. Distros using Musl libc (Alpine Linux?) might work for longer though. -- __ __ #_ < |\| |< _#
