Suggest you get a Wotif RETURN price and see who beats it.
https://www.wotif.com/Flights
The bug that was in Wotif one has to pick days that have flights
listed ot it comes up with nothing, not tried it within Australia

Flights are even cheaper if you include accommodation/hotel often much
cheaper than flights only

They do. They are Turks/Kurds and all but
one of their wifes are recent immigrants.
migrated after an arranged marraige and
none of the wives work because they don't
believe that it is fair for them to work and
look after the kids too.

> you get your own hotel room ,
> if you got any class at all

They don't give a shit about stuff like that and
will be staying in Turkey for 3 months and are
taking the 3 kids. They drive to Melburg from
a NSW country town and stay with the relos
overnight and leave the car there for the 3
months that they are away for and stay with
those relos on the return trip too.

And you get to like that or lump it

Turns out that even turkish airlines do that in their app
and wotif does too. But wotif has real glitches, the cheapest fare
isnt always shown under the date when you try different dates.

And does anyone do a decent historical record so you can
decide how early you need to book to get the best price ?

Turkish airlines has jumped 10% since we last checked it
only a couple of weeks ago. But the main competitors like
Qantas/Bartik airline code share hasnt for a trip from
roughly 1 aug to 1 nov return.

But they can't use the hotels at either end. Tho I spose they
could just not use the hotel and stay with the relos anyway

As I said elsewhere relos make much more sense for them

Cant make the app or web site work to include and overnight
in istanbul to see what difference that makes to the fare

Bullshit, its completely trivial to do that.

The only reason they havent done that yet is because
it isnt clear when they can leave given that that depends
on when the grape pruning will be done this year. That
is their main income so that matters.

Recent news which should affect, probably lower cost to Europe

Turkish Airlines are now operating from Sydney to Istanbul
4 flights a week from October 2 with latest Aircraft
Apparently at very, very good prices?
Guessing that travel to Europe will drop in price from AU
