As Putin threatened the West with nuclear war this morning, one video shared to social media speculates that Brits would only have four minutes to prepare for annihilation Brits would only have four minutes to prepare for nuclear armageddon, a video on social media has speculated. American TikToker @Americansoldier took to the popular video-sharing site to create what he claims would be the nation's warning video, which would be played on all TV networks if the big red button were pressed and the lives of millions in the UK were put in danger. The terrifying video opens with a black and white screen displaying the words "Wartime Broadcasting Service", along with a voiceover declaring: "Attention, attention. The UK is currently under attack from nuclear weapons. You have approximately four minutes to find shelter. "Communications have been severely disrupted. The number of casualties and the extent of the damage is not yet known." The prediction comes following a harrowing address by Russian despot Vladimir Putin, threatening to use "any means necessary" against the West in response to what he described as a campaign of "nuclear blackmail". The dictator said: "If the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, we use all available means to protect our people – this is not a bluff." He also confirmed that Russian civilians would be conscripted to fight, stating that a 'partial mobilisation' would begin today. Putin added: "Today our armed forces are operating across a frontline that exceeds 1,000 km, opposing not only neo-Nazi formations but the entire military machine of the collective West. "In such a situation, I consider it necessary to make the following decision, which is fully appropriate to threats we face." @AmericanSoldier's prediction of what would happen if Putin were to launch a nuclear attack may contain a kernel truth. The country's Wartime Broadcasting Service would be turned on and emergency mobile communication messages would be sent out in the event of an attack. An announcement, eerily similar to that shared by @AmericanSoldier, is thought to have been prepared, declaring: "This is the Wartime Broadcasting Service. This country has been attacked with nuclear weapons. “Communications have been severely disrupted, and the number of casualties and the extent of the damage are not yet known. “We shall bring you further information as soon as possible. “Meanwhile, stay tuned to this wavelength, stay calm and stay in your own house. “Remember there is nothing to be gained by trying to get away - by leaving your homes you could be exposing yourself to greater danger. “If you leave, you may find yourself without food, without water, without accommodation and without protection. “Radioactive fall-out, which follows a nuclear explosion, is many times more dangerous if you are directly exposed to it in the open.” However despite the scary speculation, Professor John Preston told the Sun a few years ago: "The BBC has a policy called 'Connecting in a Crisis'. It will have protocols in place but we, as the public, don't know what they are.” https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/brits-only-four-minute- warning-28044857
