It's probably asking too much to expect visiting drivers to read the Highway Code (though it is available free-of-charge here: <https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code>). Apart from anything else, it has become indigestible - 310 rules now, many of them long-winded. I have a copy from 1966 which contains only 94 rules (it did cost a tanner, so wasn't such good value).
