Humans likely will become extinct due to our own stupid destrution of the
only known biosphere in the universe before we can discover the origin of
the universe. Those who actually believe the fairy tales of Bronze Age
goat fuckers should be institutionalized as a danger to themselves and
others.

Except, there is a "perennial philosophy" that may save us.

Well, I think Brennus actually said something here. Why believe wisdom
from the past when the true wisdom is being updated in the modern times?
I have to read pretty deep in Proverbs to get something relevant for the
present day, although I liked the bit about "even castles have spiders."

Which translation are you using?

(KJV doesn't have any mention of "castles" in Proverbs...)

I usually read New International Version or New English Version. My
father told me he doesn't like King James Version so I rarely settle for
that.

Yes, but I disagree with the church on premarital sex and illegal
immigrants. It's unfortunate. I don't think I'm supposed to or allowed
to disagree, but I do.

I think a guy should be able to impregnate a girl in order to corner her
into a marriage, which isn't preached by many.

Interesting, first time I've heard that term. At a minimum, universality
reveals something about the human genome.
