#51140 — How to change location of Trash directory

SubjectHow to change location of Trash directory
Message-ID<x8evD.5204$ik6.3818@fx09.am4>
I have moved .local to SSD and now can't use .local/share/Trash for
obvious reasons (cross file systems)
I have tried to symlink but nautilus can't see anything in
trash(although it moves files there).
How to specify where is trash located. I have tried also to create
/home/.Trash and /home/.Trash-$UID alas no nautilus put only in
.local/share/Trash.
What to do?

Missing information.

What are your mounts?

You moved what where and how?

How come that Trash is not in your HOME?

I mounted .local on another drive.
Question is:
How can I specify Trash location?

AFAIK Trash has to be on same filesystem as home, I guess because
otherwise files can not be hard-linked and moved.

Don't use the Trash as a temp storage location. Delete the shit you
don't want and be done with this "trash" nonsense. Otherwise store your
shit in another temp location if you don't really mean to delete stuff.
