Hi, my cpu is 2.8GHz, but anyone know why cat /proc/cpuinfo shows that its only 800MHz?

Thanks.

This is the speed the CPU is running at the moment

you can run the following command:

cpupower frequency-info

you may see something like

    Total States: 7
    Pstate-Pb0: 4100MHz (boost state)
    Pstate-Pb1: 3800MHz (boost state)
    Pstate-P0: 3500MHz
    Pstate-P1: 3500MHz
    Pstate-P2: 3500MHz
    Pstate-P3: 3500MHz
    Pstate-P4: 1400MHz

If you change your CPU cpufreq governor you may get another idle CPU
frequency and in most cases with the demand on the system the frequency
should go up.
