Not totally. They do try to get technical answers in the form of step
by step instructions written for a clueless idiot. Which they'll
happily take full credit for in an upcoming spammy tutorial. :)

The recognition and outing of liars is of great, nay, tremendous value.

Otherwise you wouldn't be spending so much on you time trying to weasel
out of the fact that you are now a well-known liar because of:

in which you claim to have written TEN THOUSAND tutorials.

Hi Cybe(r) Wizard,

Notwithstanding the fact that _one_ tutorial, is far more than you've
contributed, what's amazing is your complete & utter lack of comprehension.

No amount of fact will ever get through to your left-side DK brain.
o You actually _believe_ you know how the lemon-juice trick works.
o That is, you can't comprehend that you can't comprehend what I had said.

That you don't comprehend what I said, is stellar for Left Dunning-Kruger.
o Absolutely no amount of logic are you capable of comprehending.
o You claim the lemon-juice trick works - despite not comprehending it.

To wit, you don't even _comprehend_ what I claimed.
o Far worse ... sadly ... you can't comprehend that you can't comprehend.

You prove me correct in _every_ repetition of your lack of comprehension.

You need to learn what the word comprehend means before you can do
this, Arlen. Based on your own posts, it's quite clear you don't
know the words actual meaning, but toss it around as if you did.

Is there a particular reason you feel it necessary to use my posting
handle as well as my first and last name? I realize you're a very
gullible individual, but, that's no excuse for what you're doing.

In fact, it disputes another claim of yours; that you've known me
for decades on usenet. I always stated that was infact, a lie on
your part. You recently learned my name (which isn't a secret)
thanks to the anoncoward, along with some of my older handles.

And, being the gullible usenet twit you are, took every single thing
they wrote about me at face value, without question and without
anything that could even be remotely close to the truth.

Don't believe me? Good! Here's some examples of their lying:

MID: <3d2a9cb78212435f8d0ca9a707c6ee5a@haph.org>
 http://al.howardknight.net/msgid.cgi?ID=153173161400
He is on probation for hosting the Melissa Virus.

 MID: <84cc91b8994db4a150e15155c499e0f5@hoi-polloi.org>
 http://al.howardknight.net/msgid.cgi?ID=153173179500
He lied about not hosting Melissa. So why believe this lying
shittard when he says he was not put on probation for hosting
viruses, including Melissa? His probation period is over, but
he's been warned that if they EVER catch him doing the virus
shit again, he's toast. His next conviction will result in prison
 time.

 http://al.howardknight.net/msgid.cgi?ID=150749973600
 MID: <84cc91b8994db4a150e15155c499e0f5@hoi-polloi.org>
However, I do have a "friend" or two who are intimately
(personally) familiar with the facts regarding his arrest
and conviction. The(y) got him. Pure and simple, they got him.

Pretty serious story there to be completely pulling from your
asshole. Like you Arlen, they didn't think their claims could be
checked for accuracy.

They can. They have. Here you go:

 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melissa_(computer_virus)

 https://www.justice.gov/archive/criminal/cybercrime/press-releases/2002/melissaSent.htm

You won't find my name mentioned anywhere at those urls, describing
what happened, and who got busted for it. David (melissas author)
was not charged for writing the virus (that wasn't and still isn't
illegal) he was charged for malicious spreading, which he did and
fully admitted to having done. Along with the hacking of the aol
account he used to post it to usenet. Had he just written and
released the virus on a pro vx site as I did mine, he would have
been fine from a legal aspect. but, he didn't stop with that. He
posted it disguised as something else to usenet; and that's where he
crossed the line to outright illegal as fuck all.

Unlike you Arlen, despite your claiming to do so, I did provide
facts (proof) to backup everything I wrote in this reply. That is,
you're a gullible liar, and! the remailer is a lying toadie. You
make a good team now that I think about it. As, they ran out of
suckers on the majority of newsgroups I haunt. Too many regulars who
know me and some of my background also found holes in the remailers
stories and the remailer never appreciated those holes being
commented on, or brought to light for further analysis.

The Anoncoward, as you have no choice now but to learn, is a well
known liar and story teller. They can't find enough actual bad dirt
on me, they have to go and make some up! Hows it feel knowing they
took you for a ride? Are you even the least bit
ashamed of further spreading bullshit about another poster?

It's a rhetorical question, Arlen. I don't expect you to be able to
answer it as any reasonable answer you provided would require you
admitting you were wrong. Considering your well known inability to
issue an apology when it's warranted, I don't expect to see you
admitting you're wrong anytime soon, either.

It's not within you. It's only available to those with a spine and
backbone, and, let's call it for what it is. You clearly don't have
either. I only provided all those facts and further details behind
it to prove how gullible and what a liar you are. Wasn't hard,
either.

Not to shabby for someone who as you put it several times, has the
mental capacity of a stupid child. if only you understood irony,
Arlen.

I'm not pulling anybodies leg. I'm always subject to peer review due
to some rat bastard code I wrote, nearly two decades ago now; so it
wouldn't benefit me in the least little bit to even try bullshitting
you or anyone else. I'd be called out for it, and, rightfully so.

As has been shown above, you and comprehension are not the best of

Umm, no. As much as I dislike iOS for my own personal reasons, you
can't blame the OS for your own inability to do something with it.
It's not the OS fault, that's entirely on you.

> o I posted the facts to the iOS newsgroup

You posted your unfounded opinion, derived from not only ignorance,
but, an ego as well. Too proud to admit you were stuck to ask for
help. Instead, you theorize (you'll probably need to use a
dictionary to look that one up too) about why the iOS isn't doing
what you're expecting. Naturally, due to your ego, it has to be the
others in question, and nothing you're doing wrong.

> It's all about _comprehension_ of facts.

Yes, it is. How are you doing with comprehending that the Anoncoward
tells alot of completely made up stories about me? And that you,
took them all, hook line and sinker, without even a shred of proof
to support anything they wrote? Do you need more examples besides
it's arrested for the Melissa virus story? I can provide several
more, if you'd like. Or, do you comprehend (heh) the point now?

So what is driving you then? Spill it.

You make some wild assumptions about what you think others do with
usenet and a variety of other items you write nonsense about,
Arlen...

You belittle and insult those (like myself) who could be of benefit
to you, in so far as correctly answering technical questions and
presenting useful problem solving skills. There's no advantage for
you to use childish insults towards so many, Arlen.

Other than your childish attack towards myself, the rest of what you
wrote doesn't make any sense, either.

I don't much care, Arlen.

Okay. When do you plan to do that?

Cite specific examples, please.

Diesel is fine. We haven't reached a first name basis just yet.

This personal feeling you've expressed has what to do with the
thread?

I've yet not to do so, Arlen. Have you ever thought (perish the
thought) that your own attitude might be the problem?

I do assist in technical threads. You can find thousands where I've
done so. I choose not to give you easy answers to your questions,
specifically. That's not being a bully Arlen. It's a personal choice
that I'm free to make.

Arlen, I don't know any of those people as bullies. Or trolls.

I don't care if you respond or not.

My name isn't exactly new information Arlen. Although, it's common
practice to address the poster by the posting nym, not their name.

I realize that along with childish insult efforts, you'll resort to
being an outright disrespectful prick as well. That's most likely
because I've already seen (as have you) several posts from others
who've already told you that I am (as I told you originally) one of
the people who lurk here who could actually provide you the
information you wanted concerning those drive letter mappings...

My refusal to do so, especially after a little confirmation could be
an annoying thing for you. Maybe you'll reconsider coming off as such
an asshole right away in the future when you interact with someone
you don't know?

> Hence, it matters not to me whether you post as Casio, Diesel,
> Diesel-Dum, Dustin Cook, Gremlin, Raid, Slam, et al.

ROFL. Didn't post to usenet as Casio. Was a very short lived handle.
Needed something else to sign a particular piece of code
with...Happened to be wearing a casio watch - done deal. rofl. True
story, too.

Not true. David Eagle, Jenn Porter, AND, David Brooks came after me
FIRST. I just so happen to be a much fucking better shot, is all.

I don't recall Aardvark ever doxing anyone.

> You wrote "virus families" as a vxer, disseminating them in the

I've been writing functional code (that is, not stupid hello world
bullshit like you) since I was still single digit age. You know a
very small amount about my coding time.

And what little you've learned about me certainly doesn't support
your earlier claims of me being stupid. All my code is original, none
was written with a hand holding gui or online tutorial.

I spent a very small amount of time all things considering writing
self replicating programs (viruses) and worms, Arlen. I'd been
writing code for years prior to that.

> *Let me tell you a secret, Dustin.

Let me save you alot more trouble down the road with me, hopefully.
I've used a variety of analog (and later digital, lol) scopes,
meters, etc, to map out electronic and electrical circuits. I've been
doing that stuff since I was single digit age. I don't think I was
even five years old yet when I got my first soldering iron. I started
out reverse engineering electronic circuits. I took that mindset to
computers, at a single digit age. I Never quit doing it. Getting a
better picture now?

> In the chit-chat model, who you are may be important because

Yet, for saying nothing, I'm sometimes accused of being too techie;
please dumb it down further. [g] You are so fully of shit Arlen. You
remind me of the anoncoward. It would tell bullshit that was easy to
prove as being bullshit, just like you're doing now...

Where did you ever get that stupid idea? I've apologized many times
over the years and 0wned the mistake of having written those
programs, nearly twenty years ago now.

> The problem, Diesel, is that you see me disseminating Hello World

Maybe? :) Just a couple of additional examples where I have continued
to do so, for decades.

1) http://bughunter.it-mate.co.uk/core/
2) http://bughunter.it-mate.co.uk

You just wrote material above, complaining about a few programs I
wrote. And let's admit it, they're a bit more complicated to write
than anything you've published. And that was nearly twenty years ago.

BugHunter wasn't exactly childsplay to write, the real challenges
with that project was the reverse engineering of malware samples.
That being said, it's a bit more complicated than anything you ever
published.

> Nobody on this planet (but you) thinks disseminating a cut and
> paste "Hello World" is a stroke of genius. Nobody.
> Well, nobody but you.

You're not being logical, again. It's clear by what little you know
of my coding background as well as the two urls above that I don't
consider your efforts to be genius grade. rofl.

> HINT: I always try to enable others to cut-&-paste what I can do

The problem you have is that you aren't even Average. You're a
childish old man, with according to new released information
concerning how states rank with education; most likely isn't quite as
educated as they let us on to think. Otherwise, many of the issues
you present with you'd be able to solve entirely on your own, without
the need for the tribe to hold your hand.

Yet again, Cybe(r) Wizard, you prove to miscomprehend adult concepts.

Let me ask the *adults* on this newsgroup *how* to respond to that?
1. Either Cybe is _incredibly_ stupid (but nobody is _that_ stupid), or,
2. Cybe is just playing silly childish semantic games (for what gain?),
3. Or, Cybe lacks comprehension of even the simplest of things.

*How does an adult even _respond_ to people like Cybe?*
A. Nobody can be _that_ incredibly stupid as what he writes indicates he is.
B. Yet, what gain would he attain by purposefully acting _that_ stupid?
C. Is it simply that there is absolutely no response he can comprehend?

The question is important for the main reason that I ask Q&A questions.
o People like Cybe prove to be (see list below) infest those Q&A threads.
o Both ignoring & respondin gto them detracts from attaining an answer.
o Yet, only they communicate amongst themselves in ways _they_ comprehend.

Sure, my tactic of making it "less fun" for them is my main approach.
o Where, I ignore drivel in chit-chat threads that other people post
o But ignoring them in Q&A threads defeats the point of the Q&A

Hence, one needs to _respond_ to these type of people (somehow):
o Snit, nospam, Jolly Roger, Dan Purgert, Cybe R Wizard, Char Jackson,
o Wolf K., Alan Baker, Tim Streater, Alan Browne, Savageduck, Wade Garrett,
o BK at OnRamp, Lloyd, Hemidactylus, Your Name, John Doe, Rene Lamantagne
o Jasen Betts, Wolf K, Rudy Weiser, Good Guy, Diesel, "joe", et al.

But how?

The fact is:
A. They prove to be incredibly stupid - so facts can't ever work with them;
B. They prove to own the mind of a child - so admonishment won't work;
C. They prove to not even _comprehend_ that they don't understand anything.

How then, does one get these utterly worthless posters to "just go away"?

You are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

First, a /REAL/ adult, one who is a true human with honorable intent,
would admit to having told the obvious lies that you've told such as
the one found in:
Message-ID: <po4626$vpu$1@news.mixmin.net>
in which you make the pompous claim of having written TEN THOUSAND
tutorials.

Everyone already knows that to be both false and told with the intent
of bolstering your own questionable abilities with software.

IOW, you are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

Second, that adult would know better than to equate anyone to some very
dubious idea of yours that children are somehow either stupid or
incapable of learning.

Neither is true, BTW, making your stating of it another lie.

IOW, you are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

The fact that you believe it shows either that you
intentionally mis-characterize both children and other adults who
disagree with you or that you neither have nor cherish children.

That by itself makes you sub-human in my book.

Oh, and a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

Third, it is no semantic game to show you to be a liar using YOUR OWN
WORDS. To question that is showing once again how much of a true and
constant and consistent liar you are.

The semantic games which you say I play are either the showing of you to
be a liar (as in Message-ID: <po4626$vpu$1@news.mixmin.net>) or
possibly the 'game' wherein I show you your own extremely poor usage of
English-ized Latin or your quite questionable knowledge and use of
basic English grammar.

IOW, you are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

Having now shown conclusively that:
1. Cybe is /NOT/ _incredibly_ stupid and that:
2. Cybe is /NOT/ just playing silly childish semantic games,
and additionally that:
3. Cybe /DOES NOT/ lack comprehension of even the simplest of
things such as simnple liars like you (just as a for instance)
we await your usual sidestepping, obfuscation, or ignoring (is the act
of ignoring known as ignorance?) of obvious facts known (now) by almost
everybody.

IOW, you are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

Keep on digging; the hole is almost deep enough to bury yourself
forever as a known liar who most will have better sense that to trust.

IOW, you are a liar. A /KNOWN/ liar. Known by /ALL/ to be such.

You really are a pathetic little weasel of a pitifully inept man, aren't
you?

Cybe R. Wizard -thinks you to be a liar, too, but a poor one
