I wanted to use Opera, the latest version I tried was 38, I think. It 
feels to me like some Chrome or Chromium cousin to me. Feels slower than 
Chromium and MP4 movie playback is less smooth. Consuming a lot of 
memory, although, perhaps not as much as Chromium. Still can't be 
considered a "slim" browser, like it used to be with Presto engine.

Chromium might still be the best choice on Linux. I am not sure, but 
Chromium is often built on same shared libraries as other applications 
for particular distro, and there is a chance that some of those 
libraries might already be loaded when user starts Chromium, which makes 
it faster than Chrome. Chrome very much relies on its own versions of 
libraries.

I am not big fan of Chrome and Chromium, Firefox was my favorite. 
However, I often watch movies and Firefox is not doing good.

I might try Vivaldi ne of these days.
