The Internal type. Not sure if it is m2 or not. It was less that $400 for the drive. I install guests on that drive. One CentOS 7.2 and one Ubuntu 15.10. So I installed Windows 7 on it for testing. What I might want to do is build a powerful machine that just runs VMWare VMs. Thinking I will try to install OSX in a VM, Windows, and then various distributions of Linux. Then I'd have one box that I can run any OS for testing. What I do for usenet is I host SLRN on my server. Then I can just SSH into it and use slrn from anything. I have way too many machines for myself, it's an addiction, and I didn't want to bother trying to sync them all for SLRN. So I just host it. Anyone can do the same with Digital Ocean as well. Get a $5 or $10 a month VPS and just run Linux or FreeBSD on it. Then install SLRN and you have a central local. It's easy and it's fast. Feel free to use whatever you like. I'd just observe that native apps often perform better. I don't use any of the Windows apps you mention. I did use Agent and Irfanview on Windows in the past, but I don't any longer and I don't miss them. :)

In SeaMonkey is somehow screwed up the headers so I got a NNTP error that the From field was missing. So I have confirmed, But not sure it is worth the extra bytes. There is a certain charm and challenge in making something legible with the restriction of 1-bit color.
