I installed Debian 0.93R6 from floppy, lacking network access back where I lived: I had a packing problem of which packages to copy onto which disks for the trip. I certainly haven't had a 3.5" drive at home or work for a very long time. I just retired some decade-old desktop machines and none of them had floppy drives. Though, these days a 250GB SSD isn't much larger than my thumb. -- Mark
