James Gregory, who has died aged 78, was an American stand-up comedian. Some of his most notable works include an album and a book titled It Could Be A Law, I Don't Know and a video called Grease, Gravy & John Wayne's Momma. Gregory's style consisted of storytelling. https://www.abc3340.com/news/entertainment/comedian-james-gregory-dead-at-78-the-funniest-man-in-america

Yeah, Louis, I was gonna make the same point about not confusing those two James Gregorys, the newly-dead comic and the long-dead character actor. What I can't figure out, however, is why for decades, whenever thinking of (or seeing onscreen in some supporting role) the late actor James Gregory, I always ALSO think of the (still-living) character actor Paul Dooley. I mean, they don't look THAT much alike, yet I've NEVER been able to think of or see one without the other also coming to mind! Any theories, Louis? (And I doubt it's a vocal thing, for they have pretty disimilar voices.)
