Or even the Juno Awards surprise performance?

Glad to see Alex, Geddy, Anika, and Loren
Playing and having fun. Also glad the fans get
to see them.

I'm definitely curious whether they're just touring, or if they'll
release any new material with this lineup; Neil's viewpoint and lyrics
were a huge part of the band's identity over the decades.

me too! :) considering that last year we didn't have any
of this happening or even the chance this is great news and
a fun time to be a fan. :)

now as to me, i'm not worried about whatever they want to
do - over the years Geddy and Alex have proven they can do
music well. maybe they just do some new instrumentals and
no lyrics? or they find some writers to come up with some
or even try to clone an AI LLM and it comes up with lyrics?
(i kinda doubt that last one but who knows what is going to
happen or be possible in the future?)...

Good gravy, I *hope* not. I don't think I'd want to listen to a word-
salad generator subbing for even a deliberately obscure, impressionist
lyricist like Jon Anderson, let alone someone with a clearly-expressed
philosophy like Peart. Instrumentals would be dandy, and of course Lee
and Lifeson have written lyrics of their own over the years; it's just
gonna be interesting seeing how the band's identity does and doesn't
change without his influence...
