Focusrite has a new line of USB interfaces out.  Guess I need to 
upgrade. New is new, afterall.  The differences on these seems to be 
the switchover to USB-C connectors. They still run at USB 2 speed, just 
have a new physical connector. For now there are USB-A to USB-C 
adaptors, but over time those will disappear.

So, if I'm buying over, replacing my Scarlett 6i6, what to get ?  The 
new 8i6, or a 4i4, or even a Solo ?   Plan is to use this to build a 
second rig, one I'll use only for solo or duo work.  If it's for that, 
then one or two mic in's max, and an instrument in.  Guess I should 
point out, this will be my " mixer ", there won't be any analog thing 
also, just an input to the computer, route my mic and guitar thru that.

gotta run, household emergency ..
