I heard the same story about Belgium..... They allready did it for trains. And now they are planning that the trucks will switch to the left side of the road.

In the 20th century, lots. More recently, only Samoa because that let them import used cars from Japan and NZ. Half of Canadian provices drove on the left in the early 20th century, then in the 1920s as they built roads from one province to another, they switched to the right. The last to switch was Newfoundland in 1947. Technically, you are correct, although most Canadians outside Quebec think of the term "Newfoundland" as referring to the entire province (officially named Newfoundland and Labrador). From that perspective, Newfoundland is no more an island than British Columbia. They are just two provinces which have an island as a part. John Savard

You are of course correct, but even now Labrador has very few people and even fewer roads. ABBA didn't form until five years later, so that cannot have happened. It's true though that the switchover was heavily planned, and included information/propaganda also in the form of as popular music. They say around this time was the last chance to switch.
