And the only reason Castro jumped into bed with Russia was because of how the US reacted to him being in control of Cuba. Same with Ho Chi Min.

We want some form of mixed economy with at least a strong element of social democracy. This is the political system in all the world except some places like Iran, North Korea etc. Possibly China, Laos, Viet Nam and Cuba. I have more reading to do. I've been reading the book (which I cannot find now) written by the Soviet US ambassador during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I don't remember the word Nomenklatura. ISTR that the organization of making something was spread out across the entire country so that making a thingie of 100 parts involved 101 ore more manufacturing facilities which were separated by thousands of miles.
