He offered to give her $850,000 to quit pestering him, she never got that amount, but some money did change hands, I am sure all the lawyers landed on their feet. Clinton lost his license, whatever, to be an attorney in Arkansas. The Wiki article is mostly about the machinations of lawyers. My reading is that she had bad lawyers - they forgot to claim that she actually suffered any damages. I remember from when it happened, Jones was prepared to testify as to some unique shape, coloration, whatever of Clinton's penis. If it had come to a trial that might have been inadmissible as evidence. And if Jones had got through that hurdle, I suppose it would have been written off as a lucky guess and besides, how did she *even know* about such things.

Aside from Hillary, all the Democrat politicians I've seen interviewed seem authentic. That doesn't mean I agree with their policies or like them as people, just that they seem to genuinely believe in what they say/do and are exactly who they present themselves as--and that counts for a lot with many voters, often more than policies do. That's what I like about Bernie. I don't like any of his proposed policies, but he seems like a genuine person, as opposed to Hillary who is a scripted, grinning, bobblehead. I'm still hoping Republican voters come to their senses and nominate one of the current top two. If they don't I think it's write-in time. -- Pete
