The Farm is still there, just not in the form it had been. "Total Loss Farm" in Vermont is still around, I think some people from it still there, but it's not really been a commune in a long time, just shared land. Michael

The Montague Farm (Montague, MA), initially Marshall Bloom's Liberation News Service bolt hole, remained a commune until circa 2003 albeit with significant changes in style and people. But there was also a "commune" in Vermont, and while I don't know the status, I gather people from back then are still in the general area. So that morphed to 'still around". Marty Jezer in the eighties came up to Montreal for six months of the year, for most of that decade, writing here and having a family, then going to Vermont for the rest of the year (the warmer half) to work for a solar power company. He's somebody who was around, but you have to look closer to find him, he wasn't one of the ones making a lot of noise. Michael

I recall that the original Enterprise looked very 1950s-ish, as compared to the Enterprise used in the TV series. The rework of the original pilot made dramatic improvements. I also recall Sulu and Spock practically shouted their responses to the Captain originally, while in the series they were more muted. I remained amazed that a TV show that did terrible in the ratings later became a cult favorite and now is celebrating its 50th anniversary! So much of Star Trek became part of our everyday culture. As an aside, did anyone ever see Roddenberry's previous show, IIRC, called The Lieutenant? Never hear much about that.

When Barrett played Nurse Chapel, she was a blond. Of course, it helped to have been married to Gene Roddenberry.
