I was going to post something, then wasn't sure. Somewhere I have a single copy of one of the early home computer magazines, one of the ones that didn't last many issues, maybe "ROM". And there's an article in there by Ted Nelson (of "Computer Lib/Computer Dream" fame) about calculating the date for Easter, so it gave the needed background to writing such a program. Michael

Knuth gives the algorithm for calculating the date of Easter, an algorithm developed hundreds of years ago. They also have every four weeks. I can understand that being
useful in an industry that is week-oriented. I modified A/R software
for a wholesaler of fruits and vegetables. Their terms were Net 7.

I remember reading somewhere that castrations were also done based on the moon phase; IIRC, a full moon caused more bleeding but I never got around to checking that one. All the farmers in my life have died. /BAH
