I once worked with a Korean fellow who had worked in a shop in Seoul.
They had a special train for their 1403 with which they could print
Korean glyphs. Apparently it took three passes: one for the top third
of the characters, one for the middle, and one for the bottom. I can't
read Korean, but ever since then whenever I see some Korean script my
eye divides it into three horizontal bands.
