CIA grades anti-virus programmes; some don’t come out well

Full story:
http://www.scmp.com/tech/enterprises/article/2077242/cia-grades-anti-virus-programmes-some-dont-come-out-well?cx_tag=recommend_desktop#cxrecs_s

Peppering the 8,000 pages of purported Central Intelligence Agency
hacking data released Tuesday by WikiLeaks are reviews of some of the
world’s most popular anti-virus products.

The hackers are quoted taking potshots at anti-virus firms, suggesting
the American intelligence agencies are keenly aware of flaws in the
products meant to be keeping us all safe online.

The data published by WikiLeaks isn’t systematic enough to draw firm
conclusions about the reliability of one product or another and the
uncertain dating means the CIA’s critiques provide more of a snapshot
than an overview.

Still, the posts show America’s top cyberspies aren’t always flattering
about commonly used security software.

That's not their job. Why don't you tell Microsoft to do it? Or do it
yourself?

Aren't Americans supposed to believe in and trust CIA more than
Micro$oft? ;)

Do they also get 33 years to do it?

They could confiscate others' properties including source codes from
Micro$oft, I supposed.... :)

Anyway, Window$ 10 had too many new features that many don't care about
nor need.

I want them removable and erasable, not even a scratch is left!

Then make your own operating system with only the features you
want. If you use an OS made by someone else, you're stuck with what
they give you.
And, of course, you're not obligated to use anything from
Microsoft. I like Ubuntu and make use of it frequently, though not for
Usenet.

Few have the time nor resources to do that.

I agree. Let's cut the wires? And the funding as well? :)

Could you write a 100% secured OS then? Don't just question and

I am happy with WIN 10, Ubuntu and Mint, so there is no need for
me to do so. Not that it would matter. I lack the knowledge necessary
to make an OS.
I will question and challenge you. Contrary to your delusion, you
have NO control over what others do.
What is at the root of your belief that you have this authority
over others?

That task will require eternal life and infinite time to do so, giving
the amount of time and resourced consumed by Micro$oft and other US
companies.

Dude! All it's going to take is a computer with an M/L compiler and the talent to write code. Granted, your code WILL probably conflict with copyrights held by Microsoft or Apple, but if you're using it for your own purposes, there would be no problem.

You also need some hardware and corresponding drivers that don't cheat!
Otherwise, whatever you do with the operating system is just a total
waste of effort and time.

What hardware other than the computer? (Monitor, modem and printers I guess.) If you're up to writing your own OP, whipping out drivers to go with it shouldn't be too much of a chore.
