Henry Hay ("The Amateur Magician's Handbook") said we should never trust a spectator's remembering of the specifics of a trick because they tend to filter it through their own thought processes. Actually, what you describe is not what I did, but thanks for saying I "stumped you."

I'll watch the video again, but as I recall, you would say the
number and it would match the number on the specific card.
You did stump me. There is no way for me to honestly deny this.
I figured out the thimble trick as you were doing it.
A few years ago I had a trick deck. Some of the cards were
slightly shorter than the others. The shorter ones were all regular
while the longer ones were all seven of hearts. The trick was to have
someone pick a card. It would always be one of the seven of hearts, of
course. Then I would have them place the card in the deck in a random
place. I'd tap the deck and ask, "Did you see me remove your card, or
was I too fast?" I would then remove a seven of hearts from my pocket.
I don't think anyone ever figured it out.
That is the beginning, middle and end of my magic career :)

You had a Svengali Deck. I used to have one of those. The trick was that I showed six cards. Ace through Three of Hearts, Four through Six of Clubs. They were in order. I scrambled them so they were mixed, Black, Red, Black, Red, Black, Red. Then I put the bottom card of the packet on top of the packet, did that six times. Snapped the cards and they'd separated back into Ace through Six divided Red and Black. I'm sorry the thimble thing didn't work.

Yes! I couldn't recall the name, and was too lazy to look it up.

That was the trick. I'm still working on figuring it out.
Don't be sorry. More often than not I am able to figure out the
trick. For me, figuring them out is more fun than the original
illusions.

Well no, that's not what causes most of it, but a good guess.

That's so sad, sorry you're going through that.

I have a friend who is 63 and going through a horrible deal with his,
and needs it yanked out, he has to wear a pee bag and catheterize
himself. I would have had mine yanked long ago, regardless of the risk
of sexual dysfunction.

It's a sign of gonorrhea, though painful urination can be caused
by many other problems.
Jeff should make an appointment with his doctor to discuss the
matter. Maybe get a referral to a urologist.

If he got within 1000 miles I would be impressed. Well, no.

If Alan wishes to impress me, he should get Serapis to cause an
earthquake in the Des Moines, Iowa metro area. Since we're not on a
fault line, this would be very impressive.
I'd issue another monetary challenge, but I don't know if he can
handle being proved a failure again.

Nah, it looks Lord Serapis sent you rain, lots of it and lightning.

Called down the thunder, did yeh? When your neighbors realize what

And NOT the earthquake I requested.
Rain was in the forecast well before I made my post. As such, my

When I said "you called down the thunder" it was on the 20th. Then on
the 25th you got it in spades. That puts it 1 day out from the 5 day
forecast as if I even pay attention to the weatherman in Des Moines.

Saying "you called down the thunder" can be interpreted both literally
and figuratively. On the 25th you got it literally, the figurative
stuff is a little more subtle but is sure to find you.

Like I said, you should have taken the blue pill.

"Called down the thunder, did yeh?"

Note the date of the post. I've included the MID so that anyone
with an interest may verify.

>Then on the 25th you got it in spades.

There could be heard the sound of thunder. There is no way for me
to honestly deny this. However, it wasn't loud enough to cause any
concern.
And the rain we got at the house wasn't enough to cause any
worry. In fact, no one in the neighborhood has expressed any worry
about the amount of rain we got.

>That puts it 1 day out from the 5 day
>forecast as if I even pay attention to the weatherman in Des Moines.
>

My point wasn't that you do or do not pay attention to the Des
Moines area forecast. My point is that your god is only able to cause
weather patterns already predicted to occur.
If we accept that Serapis is real, you've again helped to prove
he is unworthy of any devotion of any sort.

>Saying "you called down the thunder" can be interpreted both literally
>and figuratively. On the 25th you got it literally, the figurative
>stuff is a little more subtle but is sure to find you.
>

And yet, it's not been able. Odd that.

>Like I said, you should have taken the blue pill.

At this point in my life, I have no need for Viagra. If I should
find myself experiencing erectile dysfunction, I certainly wouldn't
take medical advice on its treatment from a well documented liar and
k00k like you.
I suppose I should appreciate that you're so concerned about my
ability to engage in sexual activities, but it's very creepy that this
is an aspect of your life.
Or is this another case of you using projection? Since it is a
means of deception you use frequently, it's not unreasonable to
presume my guess that your celibacy is due to you being very
undesirable was wrong. You are unable to achieve an erection is more
plausible, given your projection.

You fucking moron, that's the second reference to "calling down the
thunder." The original mention was on 6/20 as anyone can readily check
on. This is a copy of what I said:

   forgiveness of me.

Now you are proved to be the liar and provocateur. Guess you should
have 'taken a hike' while you had the chance.

You were clearly referring to yourself in that comment as PROVED
by your use of "you little Aspie prick." As such, my comment remains
100% true and accurate.
I know the truth and accuracy are things you HATE, but neither
will be changed simply because you don't like them.
     Sucks to be you.

You may deny the truth as often as you feel you must. The truth
will not change because you don't like it.
If Serapis is real, he's incompetent. He can only do as the
weather forecast predicts. I could claim any deity will cause X to
occur with the weather. In fact, I shall do so now.

Shiva will cause it to rain in the state of Oregon.
Note that, like you, I don't offer a date. This way when it does
rain, I can claim, like you, that the god I mentioned caused it.
     See how easy that is?
Oh, I'm still waiting for that earthquake to hit the Des Moines,
Iowa area. If Serapis is as powerful as you claim, he should have no
trouble causing one.

You're the one who suggested I take Viagra (the blue pill). Why
you're so interested in my sex life remains a mystery. And your
interest is still creepy.

That you have Aspergers' is well know. But you're a sadist as
well? I suppose I should have realized that, since you were projecting
it onto BDK.
I do appreciate that you have admitted your posts are disgusting
trash. I would never have called them such as I find them far too
entertaining. But that you do is fine. I will, of course, point out
your admission regarding your posts from time to time.
Now do the bidding of Shiva and offer more avoidance of the
truth. You're free to pick the means of avoidance you use. And you
will use at least one (I'm hoping you'll run away from the truth and
refuse to acknowledge my post), proving that Shiva is far more
powerful than Serapis could ever dream of being.

This is what happens when you take the red pill--you go psycho, and
doubly so if you have aspergers syndrome. Seek out the help you need
