I have heard, that cancer is a fungus and could be cured with baking powder.

But unfortunately I don't know, how to apply the baking powder and if
the fungus had to be baked.

Hahahahaha. Who says Germans don't have a sense of humour? Most people,
actually.

But google actually spits out something, if you search for cancer,
fungus and baking soda:

Google spits out lots of dumb shit. There's lots of dumb shit on the Internet.
Google doesn't do anymore stupid filtering than Andrew Luke Nichols does (zero).

German humour is hard to translate into English, so most English
speakers don't understand German jokes.

But Germans like humour and have a lot of events, that circle around
some sort of fun.

E.g. right now is a series of festivals called 'Fasching' or 'Karneval',
that are more or less 'joke fiestas'.

But - unfortunately - you won't like such stuff, since it is VERY
German. Since it's also related to Catholicism and Berlin is mainly not,
the Berliners do not celebrate 'Karneval'.

But we have joke tellers in Berlin, too.

Humorist is actually a well regarded profession in Germany (maybe only
soccer heros have higher reputation).

But most other nations do not regard the German stuff as funny. Possibly
it's a question of culture (and language).

Is that like Fastnacht? We lived in Switzerland for 2 and a half years and saw
three Fastnachts.

A know more than a couple of Germans personally, and a whole bunch of Swiss
people. Did you know that the German speaking Swiss are considered more German
than the Germans? Very straight laced people!

I was joking when I said that Germans don't have a sense of humour. Did you miss
the joke :-)

Where have you been for two weeks? Rehab?
