Subject is my question: can TB handle message-ids? Like this one? Message-ID: <ndm9bjFq1m9U3@mid.individual.net> Or Message-ID: <news:ndm9bjFq1m9U3@mid.individual.net> In Agent, doubleclicking on this will lead me to the posting. Is it the same with TB? -- s|b

Take that back. This one works. The other fails.

With my Agent 8 and just a single click (double doesn't help), the first launches a dialog box requiring a step to activate it as a 'Message-id'... while the second (again as single click) performs the task natively.

I just doubleclick. I've set it up, so it's automatically recognised as a message-id. I don't see that dialog box anymore. -- s|b

The standards-compliant news:ndm9bjFq1m9U3@mid.individual.net works out-of-the-box by simple click, for more options, there is https://services.addons.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/addon/open-by-message-id/.
